GTA 6 lore, in five questions.

Where does GTA 6 take place?

GTA 6 is set in the fictional state of Leonida, with Vice City as its anchor metropolis. Rockstar's trailers and screenshots have also revealed beaches, keys, swamps and inland communities surrounding the city, all reimagined from contemporary Florida.

Who are the main characters of GTA 6?

Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval are the dual protagonists confirmed by Rockstar. The first trailers also introduced supporting characters, gang affiliations and antagonists which we track on this page as new dossiers are revealed.

Is GTA 6 the first game with two playable protagonists?

No. GTA V already featured three playable leads. GTA 6 is the first game in the series to centre its story on a duo with a clearly couple-driven narrative arc, in the spirit of Bonnie and Clyde.
