GTA 6: Trailer 3 Is Imminent
Rockstar posted a new GTA Online Newswire on X yesterday. The image: a two-tone car and, on its license plate, the word "May". Within hours, the post had gone viral.

The Rockstar post
Posted yesterday morning on the official @RockstarGames account, the Newswire shows a two-tone car that immediately caught the fanbase's eye.
The fan decode runs deeper than a single sticker. "May" on the plate is May. The 87 on the plate reads as 1987, one year after the events of Vice City and the start of the San Andreas timeline. On the door, the code "0069 AM" breaks down to May 6, 9:00 AM Eastern, Rockstar's preferred slot for big drops. The "#555" painted next to it rounds out the pattern. The car is two-tone because it nods at the dual-protagonist setup, Lucia and Jason, the same way GTA V's Trailer 3 was structured around its three leads. And the Newswire link itself ends in "633": May 6, Trailer 3.
Stack it all together and the script the fanbase is writing reads clean. A teaser on Tuesday, May 5. The full Trailer 3 on Wednesday, May 6, exactly one year to the day after Trailer 2. Rockstar leans on anniversaries, they have done so since GTA III. The game ships in November 2026, which puts us six months from launch, the window where Rockstar usually steps on the gas. If the read is right, GTA 6's official marketing campaign kicks off this week.
Nothing is confirmed until Rockstar posts. But on this much coincidence, the fanbase has already picked a side.
When Rockstar drops Trailer 3, we'll break it down live on our dedicated page. Keep it close.
