GTA 6: the boxart should be revealed soon
This week, Strauss Zelnick said GTA 6 price info is coming "soon". Our bet: the price will drop right after the boxart reveal.

TL;DR
- Zelnick reaffirmed that pricing details are coming "soon", without committing to a number or a date.
- We think Rockstar reveals the boxart first, the price tags second, both before Take-Two's May 21 earnings call.
- Rockstar already played this card on GTA IV (2007) and GTA V (2013). A real wall painted in a real city, fans showing up with cameras, and the press kit dropping in the same hour.
- Miami is the obvious wall.
Rockstar's boxart presentations
In 2007 for GTA IV, Rockstar painted a giant mural on Houston Street in Manhattan.
In 2013 for GTA V, the move repeated. A new mural on a different Manhattan wall, the trio (Michael, Trevor, Franklin) on a Los Santos backdrop. Same method: paint big, let the photo go viral, ship the marketing kit a few hours later.
If Rockstar's marketing team still works the same way, GTA 6 gets a wall too. And the wall lives in Miami.
Why we're betting on Miami
First, the geography of the game. Vice City is the spiritual heart of GTA 6. For GTA 6, the symbolic city is south. South Beach, Ocean Drive, an art deco facade, Jason and Lucia plastered over it. That's a poster Miami's tourism board will rebroadcast for free.
Second, the calendar. Rockstar has been quiet for weeks while every other publisher pre-loaded their summer beats. A Miami wall in the first half of May would dominate the gaming press cycle and bury everything else in its way. Maximum-leverage move.
The May 21 deadline
Take-Two reports its Q4 FY2026 results on May 21. Earnings calls are when analysts get to ask the questions Zelnick keeps dodging. If the boxart and the price are still secret on May 20, analysts will spend the entire call pressing Take-Two for an announcement date.
We're betting on a boxart reveal between May 11 and May 20.
