LOVE magazine put GTA 6 on the cover of its issue 27, released on Monday, October 5, 2026. The €25 issue sold out within minutes of pre-orders opening.

The magazine interviewed several Rockstar Games team members: Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, Rupert Humphries, senior vice president of narrative, and writers Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern and Alexa D'Agostino.
A modest American dream
According to the team, Jason and Lucia's American dream is no criminal empire: they want a paid-off home, a stable family and to clear their debts. Lucia is determined to build a better future, while Jason tends to react to what happens around him.
Elizabeth Gauvey-Kern says the team wanted characters who are "vulnerable, tough, flawed, right sometimes, wrong sometimes".
Leonida, a ground for satire
Rupert Humphries describes Leonida as a "pressure cooker for all kinds of insanity". Rather than recreating the news literally, the writers invent exaggerated versions of it, from conspiracy theories to people's strange reactions to everyday events.
The new images
The issue shows the duo in everyday moments rather than action: Jason and Lucia in a diner booth, a game of pool, a motorcycle scene and a black-and-white portrait.
GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
