On May 14, 2026, Best Buy began sending a marketing email to its US customers announcing a 5% discount on GTA 6 pre-orders between May 18 and 21. No prices, no editions and no product page have surfaced yet, but the message sends a very clear signal: pre-orders look close.
This is the first time a major US retailer has communicated publicly about a GTA 6 pre-order window with precise dates. This kind of campaign does not usually ship without back-end preparation and a validated commercial calendar. In plain terms, Rockstar may be approaching an official announcement.
